Roles & Responsibility

    Roles & Responsibility

    ·       Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepaids, adjustments)

    ·       Prepare and maintain periodic MIS reports (monthly/quarterly/annual) for management review

    ·       Ensure compliance with US GAAP / IFRS / company accounting policies

    ·       Prepare financial reports and schedules related to fixed assets

    ·       Support preparation of P&L, cost center reports, variance analysis, and dashboards

    ·       Ensure timely and accurate closing of books in coordination with accounting teams

    ·       Assist in preparation of budget vs actual analysis and management presentations Cost Accounting

    ·       Maintain and analyze cost structures, including product, project, process, or departmental costs

    ·       Track and analyze standard vs actual costs, identify variances, and provide actionable insights

    ·       Support cost allocation, absorption, and apportionment across departments/projects

    ·       Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements Controls, Compliance & Audit Support

    ·       Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

    ·       Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and accounting policies

    ·       Support internal and statutory audits by providing required data, schedules, and explanations

    ·       Assist in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements

    ·       Identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes

Global Experience

CA/CPA/CMA/ACCA

Mandatory  technical & functional skills

  • Reconciliation tools & experience a plus, especially Oracle OARC
  •  Strong command and ease of business English (spoken and written), native preferred
  •  Insurance, Banking ,Asset Mgt & Manufacturing unit a plus
  • Audit experience a plus.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Awareness of the Regulatory & Compliance guidelines and other relevant legislation, procedures and processes
  • Preferred background in Financial services industry, with exposure to Banking Operations and Risk Management, under the ambit of  global service delivery set-up
  •  

    Work experience 2–10 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, cost accounting, or FP&A

    Mandatory  technical & functional skills

            Strong understanding of cost accounting concepts and management reporting

            Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables); ERP knowledge preferred

            Analytical mindset with attention to detail

            Ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly

            Good coordination and stakeholder management skills
