Job Description: Planisware Consultant/Administrator
Role Overview
Seeking a skilled Planisware professional to manage, configure, and optimize our enterprise
project portfolio management (PPM) platform. You will drive adoption, ensure data integrity, and
align the tool with business processes to support strategic planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Configuration & Administration: Customize Planisware modules, workflows, screens, and
reports to match PMO standards and business needs.
User Support & Training: Act as SME for Planisware. Provide L2/L3 support, troubleshoot
issues, and deliver training to project managers and leadership.
Process Integration: Map existing project/program management processes into Planisware.
Define data models, calendars, cost structures, and resource pools.
Reporting & Dashboards: Build executive dashboards, portfolio views, and KPI reports using
Planisware Explorer, Nova, and Power BI integrations.
Data Governance: Maintain data quality, manage user access/security, and oversee master data
like resources, financials, and organizational breakdown structures.
Enhancements & Upgrades: Lead version upgrades, UAT, and rollout of new features. Liaise
with Planisware vendor for patches and roadmap alignment.
Stakeholder Management: Partner with PMO, IT, Finance, and business units to gather
requirements and translate them into Planisware solutions.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years hands-on experience with Planisware V6 or Planisware Enterprise as
admin/consultant.
Technical Skills: Strong in Planisware configuration, PX scripting, SQL for data extracts, and
integration with SAP/Oracle/MS Project.
PPM Knowledge: Solid understanding of project portfolio management, resource management,
and financial planning processes.
Education: Bachelor's in IT, Engineering, or Business. PMP/PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management. Ability to
train non-technical users.
Preferred
Experience with Planisware Nova UX, Orchestrator, or Planisware Cloud.
Background in IT, Manufacturing or Engineering industries with large-scale PPM deployments.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and hybrid project models in Plainsware
