Key Responsibilities:
Distribution & Stockist Network
o Identify, appoint, and manage distributors/stockists across India to ensure
national-level availability.
o Monitor sales, inventory hygiene, collections, and ROI of distribution
partners.
o Ensure product penetration into GT (General Trade), Modern Trade, and
Pharma/Mom-&-Baby channels.
Expansion & Sales Delivery
o Drive distribution-led growth in line with business targets.
o Plan and execute state-wise expansion strategies for Personal Care products.
o Build strong tertiary market control and retail-level availability.
E-Commerce Ecosystem
o Manage marketplace operations (Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, FirstCry,
etc.) including stock planning, pricing, and promotions.
o Handle outright purchase models with large e-commerce partners.
o Ensure healthy fill rates, on-time replenishment, and visibility of products
online.
Vendor & Supply Chain Management
o Coordinate with vendors for timely product delivery, warehousing, and
logistics.
o Ensure smooth execution of packaging, labelling, and compliance
requirements.
o Partner with supply chain for forecasting, demand planning, and inventory
control.
Business Planning & Reporting
o Prepare regional and national sales reports with actionable insights.
o Track KPIs like secondary sales, tertiary reach, outlet productivity, and
contribution margins.
o Work with marketing to design and execute trade promotions and consumer
activation.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 10 years in FMCG/Personal Care/Consumer Products with focus on distribution & sales.
Strong understanding of personal care / baby care trade channels.
Proven experience in stockist & distributor management across India.
Exposure to E-commerce operations (marketplaces & outright models).
Knowledge of vendor management, logistics, and supply chain coordination.
Proficiency in Excel, MIS, and sales reporting tools.
Excellent communication skills in English; regional language knowledge a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial setup with high ownership.
Willingness to travel extensively across India.
