Roles & Responsibility


• Solid, hands-on experience with Base24 EPS development, including configuration mapping, mandate handling, and switch updates.
• Strong command over C/C++ on Linux, including multithreading, sockets, IPC, and system-level programming.
• Good understanding of ISO8583, EMV standards, and card transaction flows.
• Working knowledge of HP NonStop (Tandem) systems in switch-based environments.
• Exposure to major card schemes: Visa, MasterCard, Pulse.
• Experience with secure payment handling, including HSM key usage.
• Practical use of version control systems (Git/GitHub/Bitbucket).
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
Desired skills
• Understanding of POS terminal ecosystems (Ingenico, Verifone, Android POS) and merchant acquiring flows.
• Knowledge of Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC), multi-language support, and ECR integrations.
• Ability to write automation or diagnostic scripts using Python or Shell.
• Familiarity with EMSEVENTS, PATHWAYS, BATCHJOBS, ASSEFT test simulators.
• Strong debugging skills using tools like GDB.
