Key Responsibilities:

The Liferay Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and portals using the Liferay platform. This includes customizing Liferay themes, creating and managing portlets, and integrating third-party APIs. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the applications meet business needs, providing technical support and troubleshooting as necessary. Additionally, the role involves conducting system performance tuning and optimization, ensuring adherence to best practices for coding standards, as well as documenting all processes and architectures. Regular updates and communication of project progress to stakeholders will also be required.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 4 to 20 years of hands-on experience with Liferay.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Java, Liferay CMS, and related frameworks. Familiarity with web services integration and database management.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to troubleshoot software issues efficiently.
• Collaboration: Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear interaction with stakeholders and team members.
