Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned and innovative iOS Tech Lead to head the design, development, and delivery of iOS-based applications for connected cars, mobility platforms, and telematics solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong iOS development background with proven experience leading teams in the automotive domain.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Lead the architecture, design, and development of high-quality iOS applications for connected vehicle and infotainment solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, UI/UX designers, embedded teams, and cloud/backend teams to define and refine technical requirements.
• Integrate iOS apps with automotive systems using Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, CAN, and cloud-based APIs.
• Ensure robustness, performance, scalability, and compliance with automotive-grade software standards.
• Drive Agile/Scrum practices, manage sprints, task allocation, estimations, and ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure testability and maintainability of the codebase.
• Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, and ensure static code analysis and automated testing.
• Mentor junior developers and lead a high-performing iOS development team across multiple project streams.
• Support compliance with automotive cybersecurity standards, data privacy, and OTA updates.
• Coordinate with global teams to meet varied OEM/Tier-1 requirements
Professional & Technical Skills:
• Strong hands-on experience with Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C, and iOS SDKs.
• Solid understanding of iOS architecture patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, and Clean Architecture.
• Proven experience with Bluetooth LE, CarPlay, MFi integration, and CoreLocation in the automotive context.
• Familiarity with CAN protocol, diagnostic tools (UDS, OBD-II), and vehicle data integration.
• Experience working with mobile app analytics, crash reporting, and memory profiling tools.
• Proficient in using Xcode, Git, Jenkins, Fastlane, and TestFlight/App Store deployment.
• Ability to collaborate across hardware, embedded, and cloud development teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Good understanding of Solid principle and design patterns
• Experience delivering OEM-branded iOS apps for vehicle control, remote diagnostics, telematics, or navigation.
• Familiarity with V2X communication, OTA updates, or infotainment HMI integration.
• Experience working in SAFe Agile or similar scaled agile frameworks.
• Understanding of compliance frameworks like ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO 21434 (Cybersecurity).
• Exposure to cross-platform development (e.g., Flutter, React Native) is a plus.
