Roku Developer, Experience  on  Brightscript, Scenegraph

Knowledge on React JS, Node JS

 quires experience with BrightScript, the SceneGraph framework, and the Roku SDK to design, build, and maintain streaming applications on the Roku platform. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing application performance, debugging issues, and ensuring code quality through practices like code reviews and unit testing. This role is ideal for developers with strong problem-solving skills, knowledge of streaming protocols, and experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.  Core responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality streaming applications for the Roku platform using BrightScript and the Roku SceneGraph framework. 
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver new features and applications. 
  • Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability, ensuring a smooth streaming experience. 
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues across various Roku devices. 
  • Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code, and participate in code reviews. 
  • Stay updated with the latest Roku SDK updates and development best practices. 
Required skills and experiencePreferred qualifications
  • Experience with over-the-top (OTT) or connected TV (CTV) applications.
  • Knowledge of video encoding and DRM.
  • Experience with web services and API integrations.
  • Familiarity with performance monitoring and optimization tools on embedded systems.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
