Roles & Responsibilities: • Join a mid-level leadership role within the Aerostructure Engineering team, supporting both strategy and technical execution across the full engineering lifecycle—from concept through production, certification, and sustainment. • Play a pivotal role in leading engineering delivery, technical governance, and client interactions for high-impact aerospace programs spanning rotary- and fixed-wing platforms. • Opportunity to drive digital engineering initiatives including MBD, MBSE, and digital twin integration within legacy and next-gen design environments. • Lead fatigue and damage tolerance (F&DT) analysis for metallic/composite parts in primary and secondary rotary wing structures. • Guide interpretation of static analysis to define fatigue-critical areas, calc points, load paths, design intent, and scatter factors per FAR/CS 25.571/29.571, MIL-STD-1530, etc. • Prepare method registers, F&DT documents, tool alignment, certification checklists, test report templates, and SLAs per scope and client needs. • Manage project scope, constraints, and alignments with client during project initiation. • Apply standard F&DT methods and best practices, documenting limitations based on NDE/NDI, manufacturing constraints, and design criteria. • Provide expertise in deriving fatigue and test load spectra and formalize via documented procedures. • Offer technical oversight across concept design, structural layout, compliance checks, integration, certification, and test phases. • Support fatigue test plan creation (full/component level), test result interpretation, and correlation; review team outputs. • Act as Level II/III checker, approver, and signatory for F&DT analysis, plans, test orders, and reports. • Lead root cause investigations, risk assessments, and resolution of stress/F&DT issues, non-conformances, and airworthiness gaps. • Analyze complex design issues and recommend optimal engineering solutions aligned with program goals. • Support delivery manager and act as the technical voice of the program, enable aligning customer expectations with engineering deliverables and strategic goals. • Front face Accenture in all technical discussions and lead the discussion. • Drive end-to-end scope definition, requirements management, and traceability across the engineering structural lifecycle related to F&DT justification. • Ensure effective planning, milestone tracking, and schedule variance analysis to maintain alignment with program delivery goals and importantly internal deal construct parameters or solution baselines. • Drive robust engineering change management by closely monitoring evolving inputs and requirement changes. Assess and manage the impact of delays on schedule variance, resource allocation, cost, and milestone delivery through a structured change control process aligned with client approvals and governance protocols. • Ensure engineering activities meet cost, schedule, target weight and performance objectives while maintaining traceability and regulatory compliance. • Collaborate and lead cross-functionally with design/analysis team, manufacturing, quality, and systems teams; actively engage in design reviews, issue resolution, and integration discussions. • Act as the technical interface with the client, ensuring alignment of F&DT compliance objectives and deliverables. Professional & Technical Skills: • Expertise in design, development, and integration of metallic and composite helicopter/aircraft structures (primary and secondary) from F&DT perspective. • Experience with static and F&DT analysis for sizing large fixed or rotary wing aircraft. • Skilled in weight and load path optimization, fatigue, and damage tolerance for certification and testing. • Strong knowledge of airworthiness regulations (CS-27/29, FAR 23/25), OEM standards, and FAA/EASA certification. • Experienced in test plan preparation, test orders, load derivation, and test-to-analysis correlation for component and full-scale tests. • Familiar with certification testing, life extension, and fatigue-resistant structure design. • Knowledge of GD&T and drawing standards is a plus. • Proficient in FEA and F&DT tools is essential with experience in NASGRO / FRANC 3D / MSC FATIGUE, MSC NASTRAN/PATRAN, HyperMesh/Optistruct. or similar tools is a strong plus. • Can guide the team for automation using Excel MACROS & VBA / Python and Catia V5 is a plus• Deep understanding of aircraft materials, fatigue, fracture mechanics, fatigue spectrum derivation, and probabilistic crack growth assessment. • Familiar with FEA considerations and meshing for F&DT analysis. • Experience from concept through design validation, manufacturability, certification, and F&DT test correlation, preferably for rotary wing aircraft. • Strong knowledge of helicopter/aircraft load-bearing structures, focusing on integrity, stiffness, and load path optimization under static and fatigue loads. • Awareness of failure modes in metallic and composite airframe parts. • Skilled in structural classification, F&DT compliance, calculation points, down-selection, and scatter factor selection. • Proven expertise in low and high cycle fatigue analysis for fixed or rotary wing aircraft. • Acoustics and noise separation knowledge is a plus. • Competent in structural sizing to meet certification, test, and manufacturability requirements. • Proven experience in static and F&DT sizing for design and integration of rotary-wing and/or fixed-wing aircraft structures across end-to-end design lifecycle phases. • Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams—including design, stress analysis, manufacturing, systems and quality—within complex delivery frameworks for aerostructure development programs.
