Roles & Responsibility
- Design and provide inputs to optimize stored procedures and queries based on system performance to reduce server load
- Monitor performance continuously and take immediate measures based on the analysis of current system behavior
- Conduct In-depth Analysis of the current server configuration and identify requirements to improve performance, particularly in database settings.
- Enhance security measures to ensure data privacy and information security
- Address issues related to DB configuration, server configuration, partitioning, indexing by applying industry best practices/standards
- Define Server Health Policies like Temp DB configuration, analyse the server configuration based on user base, CPU utilization, etc
- SQL software/patch upgrades and technical initiatives
- Resource (CPU , memory , IO & network) monitoring and management
