- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Subcontractor to support and manage a suite of Atlassian and related
tools, including JIRA, Bamboo, Crucible, Bitbucket, and Confluence. The
ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with these tools, providing
configuration, integration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support
services to ensure that our development and operational teams can use
these tools effectively. The position is an excellent opportunity for
someone with expertise in software development toolsets, project
management platforms, and continuous integration/continuous delivery
(CI/CD) processes.
- Configure and maintain JIRA, Bamboo, Crucible,
Bitbucket, and Confluence to meet team and organizational needs.
- Administer user permissions, workflows, projects,
repositories, and other configurations across the platforms.
- Set up and customize Jira workflows, screens,
fields, permissions, and notifications.
- Create and manage Bamboo build plans and deployment
pipelines.
- Develop, implement, and maintain integrations
between JIRA, Bamboo, Crucible, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
- Automate and streamline development and project
management processes through tool integrations and APIs.
- Enable seamless workflows between source control
(Bitbucket), build systems (Bamboo), code review (Crucible), and
project management (JIRA).
- Provide ongoing technical support to teams using
these tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with JIRA queries,
Bamboo builds, Bitbucket repositories, Crucible reviews, and Confluence
spaces.
- Ensure the tools are operating smoothly with minimal
downtime and issues.
- Conduct training sessions for new users and provide
ongoing support to current users for efficient use of these tools.
- Create and maintain clear, concise documentation for
configurations, best practices, and troubleshooting.
- Perform regular updates and patches to the tools to
keep them up to date with the latest features, security patches, and
enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high
availability and reliability of all tools.
- Work closely with development, DevOps, and project
management teams to identify requirements, configure workflows, and
optimize the use of these tools.
- Participate in planning and strategy meetings to
align the tools with overall project and organizational goals.
- Proven experience with JIRA, Bamboo, Crucible,
Bitbucket, and Confluence (configuration, administration,
troubleshooting).
- Strong knowledge of Atlassian suite integrations
(e.g., JIRA to Bamboo, Bitbucket to Crucible).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, build
automation, and version control systems.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA Query Language (JQL),
custom workflow creation, permissions schemes, and notifications.
- Familiarity with REST APIs for integrating Atlassian
tools with other systems and third-party applications.
- Experience in managing source control systems,
particularly Bitbucket.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to
troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a
distributed team.
- Strong communication skills for user training and
cross-functional collaboration.
- Certification in Atlassian products (e.g., Atlassian
Certified JIRA Administrator).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity
with Agile project management tools.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Groovy,
Python) to automate tasks and enhance functionality.
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and
Atlassian Cloud solutions.
- Flexible working hours, with an expectation to be
available during core hours.
