Oracle Database security specialist • Knowledge of DB Security viz. AVDF, DB Vault, Oracle Key Vault, e-Wallet, and TDE is needed. • Lead the implementation and configuration of AVDF on all financial databases. • Design and architect the AVDF solution for various database for different kind of associated applications like EBS, Webcenter, ORMB, DWH etc. • Knowledge of DB security implementation in OCI, Azure and AWS. • Knowledge of migration of database security solution from On-Premises to cloud like OCI, Azure & AWS • Expert knowledge of Oracle Database, Goldengate, Exadata, Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM, Data Guard, Backup & Recovery etc. • Strong DBA skill • Experience in Oracle enterprise manager (OEM) is a plus. • Handle day-to-day operational tasks within OCI, including but not limited to: o Backup and recovery strategies. o Database security, including encryption, access control, and auditing. o Monitoring and performance tuning of EBS and databases. o Patching, cloning, and applying updates to the EBS and Oracle Database environments. • Develop and maintain scripts or automation tools for routine maintenance, backups, and other administrative tasks. • Collaborate with internal teams to support patching, disaster recovery planning, and other critical business processes. • Ensure all systems adhere to OCI best practices for security and compliance, including implementing appropriate auditing and monitoring solutions. • Strong understanding of infrastructure concepts on Linux/Unix and Wintel operating system. • Good knowledge on Network architecture. • Sound understanding on Load balancers, VIP, DNS and Certificate renewals.

Security and Compliance • Auditing of all databases. • Remediation of all audit observations from internal & external auditors • Vulnerability monitoring and remediation from MMC standard tools like QVM, ATOM etc. • Track Security Certificate expirations and renew certificates • Track and remediate Security Vulnerabilities, apply Critical Security Patch updates • Quarterly Password Changes to adhere to SOX policies. • Generation of SOX Audit reports having all details of changes implemented on Prod Environments and sharing with Application Owners for required approvals. • Work with D&T external Audit team and provide required changes evidence for Audit related Queries. |
