Key Responsibilities

API Development: Design, develop, and maintain APIs using API Connect and Data Power.
Integration: Integrate APIs with backend systems and ensure functionality across platforms.
Performance Optimization: Monitor API performance and optimize for speed and efficiency.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for APIs.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve production issues related to APIs in a timely manner.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new API features.
Security: Implement security measures for APIs to protect sensitive data.
Testing: Conduct unit testing and integration testing for developed APIs.

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience: 4-8 years of experience in API development and management.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in API Connect, Data Power, and JSON/XML formats.
Programming Languages: Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
Database Skills: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
