Responsibilities

·       Designing and developing API-led integration solutions using MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform to enable seamless communication and data flow between various systems and applications.

·       Implementing API design best practices, including creating and managing APIs using RAML or API specifications, versioning, and lifecycle management.

·       Maintain best-practices for MuleSoft development, including deployment process, documentation, and adherence to and improvement of coding standards.

·       Creating and maintaining MuleSoft API policies to enforce security, access controls, and governance standards across APIs.

·       Ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of MuleSoft APIs through proper design and optimization techniques.

·       Writing custom code and transformations in MuleSoft to meet specific integration needs when standard connectors are insufficient.

·       Contribute to the evolution of next generation e-commerce architecture and ecosystem towards an API-led architecture.

·       Collaborating with solution architects and business analysts to understand integration requirements and design appropriate API-led connectivity patterns.

·       Unit testing the developed MuleSoft API.

·       Ensuring adherence to security guidelines in MuleSoft development.

·       Working with cross-functional teams to identify and address integration issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems as they arise.

·       Provide LOEs of tasks and projects

Requirements

·       Proven experience in designing and implementing API-led integration solutions for production using MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform.

·       Proficiency in MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and other related tools.

·       Strong understanding of API-led architecture concepts and best practices.

·       Experience with API design using RAML or other API specification languages.

·       In-depth knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services, JSON, XML, and other web services protocols and formats.

·       Genuine passion for backend development to build scalable MuleSoft APIs

·       Strong knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and associated tools (Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, etc.).

·       Understanding of security and governance aspects related to API development and management.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines in agile environment.
