Key Responsibilities

As a Procurement Associate or Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for the end-to-end management of the purchasing lifecycle. This includes identifying and vetting potential vendors, negotiating competitive contracts, and ensuring that all goods and services are procured within the defined budgetary constraints. You will need to maintain accurate records of purchase orders, track shipment statuses, and communicate proactively with internal stakeholders to manage expectations regarding delivery timelines. Furthermore, you are expected to analyze market trends, perform spend analysis, and identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining high standards of quality. Regular audits of existing vendor performance are required to ensure compliance with company policies and sustainability goals, while also fostering strong, long-term relationships with key business partners to streamline future procurement processes and supply chain efficiency.

The ideal candidate for this position must possess at least 1.5 to 3 years of professional experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field. You should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a deep proficiency in using procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Excellent negotiation skills are essential, as you will frequently interact with suppliers to secure favorable terms. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related discipline is required. We are looking for an individual with exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management capabilities, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Furthermore, you must exhibit clear verbal and written communication skills to liaise across departments and manage complex vendor interactions successfully. Prior experience in inventory management or contract law is highly preferred, as it will significantly contribute to your effectiveness in navigating our organization's daily purchasing and procurement operations.
