Role title: Senior Sybase & Python Developer (with unix background)
Seniority: 8+ years of experience
Key requirements / skills:

• Strong knowledge of Sybase ASE (SQL, stored procedures), Shell scripting & Python
  
• Experience working on Unix platform
  
• clean coding and refactoring skills with excellent problem-solving ability
  

• Hands-on experience in writing complex queries and stored procedures on Sybase ASE (T-SQL)
  
• Experience working on Unix platform - file operation, permissions, environment, data analysis
  
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing ETL/data solutions using Python (data cleansing, ingestion, loading & reporting)
  
• Experience with Shell scripting & Autosys
  
• Experience of taking business requirements and turning them into implementable smaller steps.
  
• Good understanding of SDLC in an agile operating model
