Required Skills
- Good Linux administration experience (RHEL and Ubuntu).
- Excellent Shell Scripting (Bash) with experience in automation.
- Strong knowledge of Cron, Systemd, Linux services, and process management.
- Experience with Linux networking, including TCP/IP, SSH, DNS, routing, and firewall concepts.
- Knowledge of data compression techniques such as gzip, tar, and SSH compression.
- Good understanding of Linux filesystems (XFS, EXT4, NFS) and filesystem administration.
- Experience with RAID, storage management, logical volumes (LVM), and disk management.
- Experience with log analysis, troubleshooting, and diagnostic tools such as journalctl, syslog, tcpdump, netstat/ss, lsof, iostat, vmstat, and top.
- Experience with backup frameworks or enterprise backup solutions Preferred skill.
- Good understanding of backup, restore, retention policies, backup validation, and disaster recovery concepts.
