As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and specifications for various mechanical and electrical components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and project management to ensure designs meet all requirements and standards. Your duties will include conducting design reviews, analyzing design alternatives, and implementing improvements to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness. You will also be expected to troubleshoot design issues, support prototyping efforts, and maintain comprehensive design documentation. Additionally, you will stay updated with industry standards and best practices to enhance your technical expertise and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with hands-on experience ranging from 1 to 8 years in design engineering roles. Strong proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA is essential for this position. You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in technical documentation and design specifications. Knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and quality standards is required. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate strong communication abilities to effectively collaborate with team members, possess the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and show commitment to professional development and learning new technologies in the engineering field.
