Job Summary:

Operate and maintain U-bend machines to produce high-quality bent tubes/components as per specifications. Ensure safety, quality standards, and production targets are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate U-bend machines according to production requirements
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
• Load raw materials (tubes/pipes) into the machine and ensure proper alignment
• Monitor machine operations and adjust settings for accuracy and efficiency
• Inspect finished products using measuring tools (vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges)
• Ensure product quality meets specified standards and tolerances
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of machines
• Maintain production records and report any defects or issues
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
• Coordinate with supervisors and quality teams for continuous improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience operating U-bend or similar bending machines
• Basic knowledge of mechanical drawings and measurement tools
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards
• Ability to handle tools and machinery safely
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Basic education (ITI / Diploma preferred in Mechanical or related field)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in tube bending or heat exchanger manufacturing
• Knowledge of CNC or semi-automatic bending machines
• Familiarity with ISO/quality standards

Working Conditions:

• Shop floor / manufacturing environment
• Rotational shifts (if applicable)
• Standing for long periods and handling materials
