Job Summary:

The Hair Pin Bending Machine Operator is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining machines used to bend metal wires or rods into hairpin shapes as per specifications. The role ensures consistent quality, productivity, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate hairpin bending machines to produce components as per technical drawings and specifications
• Set up machines, including tooling, alignment, and calibration before production
• Monitor machine operations and adjust settings to maintain quality and efficiency
• Inspect finished products using measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.) to ensure accuracy
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines
• Identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
• Maintain production records and report output, defects, and downtime
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times
• Coordinate with supervisors and quality teams for process improvements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or ITI certification (Mechanical or related field preferred)
• Experience in operating bending or forming machines (1–3 years preferred)
• Basic knowledge of mechanical drawings and measurements
• Ability to use measuring instruments
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of machine maintenance
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in wire forming or automotive component manufacturing
• Familiarity with CNC bending machines (if applicable)

Working Conditions:

• Shop floor/manufacturing environment
• May involve shift work (day/night)
