Roles & Responsibility

Job Summary:
Skilled Fin Press Machine Operator with 2 years of hands-on experience in operating, setting up, and maintaining fin press machines used in heat exchanger or HVAC coil manufacturing. Adept at ensuring product quality, meeting production targets, and maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate fin press machines to produce aluminum/copper fins as per specifications.
  • Set up machine parameters including feed length, stroke rate, and die alignment.
  • Perform die installation, adjustment, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor production process to ensure consistent quality and minimal defects.
  • Inspect finished fins using measuring tools like vernier calipers and gauges.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to prevent downtime.
  • Identify and resolve minor mechanical issues during operation.
  • Maintain production records, reports, and logs.
  • Follow safety procedures and workplace guidelines at all times.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and quality teams to meet production goals.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of fin press operations and tooling (progressive dies).
  • Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality standards.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and job specifications.
  • Attention to detail and quality control.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to work in shifts.


Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating fin press machines in manufacturing (preferably HVAC or heat exchanger industry).

Education:

  • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred).

Additional Requirements:

  • Understanding of safety standards (PPE, machine guarding).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Teamwork and communication skills.
