Typical Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage the company’s QA program, focusing on fabrication standards and
regulatory codes.
• Lead, train, and supervise QA/QC inspectors for in-process and final inspections.
• Conduct internal audits, identify non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with customer specifications, certification requirements and regulatory
standards.
• Assist procurement with supplier evaluations and ensure that all welding certifications and
authorizations are up-to-date.
• Maintain and prepare QA documentation, code compliance records and inspection reports.
• Drive continuous improvement through KPIs, LEAN principles and corrective/preventive
actions.
• Act as a bridge between shop floor operations and upper management ensuring quality issues
are communicated and resolved
