Key Responsibilities

The Windows + VMware Lead/Senior Consultant will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of Windows Server operations, ensuring high availability and performance of the systems. This role involves:

• Leading projects related to VMware virtualization and providing expert guidance on best practices.
• Conducting regular system assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deploy solutions that meet organizational needs.
• Providing mentorship and training to junior staff members in Windows and VMware technologies.
• Developing and maintaining documentation for system configurations and processes.
• Participating in disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure business continuity.
• Staying current with industry trends and tools to enhance organizational capabilities.

Vmware Support : (Mandatory)

• Manage and troubleshoot VMware vSphere environments (vCenter, ESXi 6.5/7.0/8.0)
• Perform VM provisioning, migration (vMotion/Storage vMotion), and resource optimization
• Handle HA, DRS, and VM snapshot management
• Support vDS, and performance tuning
• Work on ESXi patching, upgrades, and host profile management
• Create and maintain automation scripts (PowerCLI preferred)
• Knowledge of Dell / HP Hardware, Blade and Firmware

Windows Support: (Mandatory)

• Manage Windows Server OS (2012/2016/2019/2022)
• Handle DHCP and  Hyper V knowledge
• Patch management and Windows clustering support
• Troubleshoot OS-level issues, including performance bottlenecks
• Perform backup/restore activities
