Roles & Responsibility

Title

Assistant Manager/ Operations Manager

Description
  • Technical Design & Development: Design and develop technical specifications, custom programs, and ABAP applications, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to standards.
  • S/4HANA & Modernization: Implement code pushdown techniques (AMDP), CDS views, and develop OData services using SAP Gateway for Fiori/UI5 applications.
  • RICEFW Development: Extensive hands-on experience developing ALV reports, BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, IDocs, and Adobe Forms.
  • Debugging & Tuning: Perform advanced debugging, code optimization, and SQL performance tuning to enhance system efficiency.
  • Project Lifecycle & Support: Actively participate in full implementation projects, upgrades (SPAU/SPDD), and support maintenance, including troubleshooting production issues.
  • Collaboration: Work with functional consultants (SD, MM, FI, EWM) and business users to translate business requirements into technical solutions. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 5-8 years of professional SAP ABAP development experience, with exposure to S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OO-ABAP), ABAP Development Toolkit (ADT), and Adobe Forms.
  • Integration Knowledge: Experience with SAP PI/CPI, web services (REST/SOAP), and API development.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to work independently and with client teams.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance ABAP programs including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF)

  • Work on Classical & Interactive Reports, ALV Reports

  • Develop and modify SmartForms / SAP Scripts / Adobe Forms

  • Create and enhance User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs, Enhancements

  • Develop RFCs, BAPIs, IDOCs and Interfaces

  • Perform data migration and conversions using LSMW / BDC

  • Debug and resolve production issues and provide technical support

  • Collaborate with Functional Consultants to understand business requirements

  • Prepare technical specifications and unit test cases

  • Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
