Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will work collaboratively with team members to ensure optimal database performance and reliability, while also staying updated on best practices in database management. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the development and implementation of database policies and procedures. - Monitor database performance and make recommendations for improvements. |
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM Db2.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Linux.
- Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling.
- Experience with backup and recovery strategies for database systems.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
