Adhere to logistics processes, inventory management, procurement of RM/PM & stores Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective Construct healthy relationships within the company and with external clients viz such as suppliers or distributors Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues Evaluate and report on KPIs Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements You’ll be the central connection to collaborate with diverse teams to identify and develop sustainable logistical solutions Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders Monitor supplier performance to assess the ability to meet quality and delivery requirements Enforce innovative and effective supply chain processes
The candidate should have worked with an e-commerce giant at a significant role and at factory/warehouse level, Should have sound knowledge about the industry (F&B or FMCG) and insights about the operational activities too like (but are not exhaustive to), Inventory management Vendor management & development RM/PM/Logistics cost optimization Good material keeping ability Interpersonal skills Good communication skills Previous experience as a supply chain manager or in a similar field Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes Working experience of relevant software (e.g. SAP B1) Strong communication skills Excellent organizational and project management skills Attention to detail Creative problem-solving A strategic and analytical mind
