Role: Financial Analyst (Global Markets)

For this role, the following Knowledge and Skills are mandatory:

• 4-7 years of experience in IPV (independent Price Verification) and Valuation of Banking book financial products from scratch (Bonds, FRNs, Fixed- and Floating Term Loans and Deposits, Interest Rate Swaps)

• Experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures.

Additional knowledge (Preferred)

• Understanding of Quantitative Finance

• Python, R

• Knowledge of Microsoft .Net and C#

• Experience in a Treasury environment

Role Purpose: Analyse reconciliations and exceptions (including KRM errors and recon exceptions) on the ALMA platform. Value deals from scratch when issues are uncovered to pinpoint where the issue may lie. Prepare and present findings in written and verbal reports to key stakeholders. Conduct and deliver accurate and high-quality analysis. Expand the suite of metrics currently generated by the ALMA system. Write SQL queries and procedures to transform data received into data that is usable by the ALMA system. Interact with the ALMA system through SQL and other tools to monitor and run daily BAU tasks.

Responsibilities also include to ensure that processes conform to business objectives and complies with Group Information Architecture. Keep up to date with new data assets and products to identify new opportunities, capabilities and trends that would add value to business.

Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in quantitative finance, information systems, data analyst, computer science, engineering, or mathematics, with minimum 4-7 years related experience.

Hybrid work model, mandatory work from office 2 days per week.
